Wine Trail

A visit to Hermannhof Winery is like a step into small-town German traditions. Visitors can expect to taste a delicious Mocha Espresso Truffle Tartlet paired perfectly with a rich and full Bodied 2004 Norton during Wine Trail weekend.

The soil and climate of Hermannhof vineyards are so unique, they give our wines a special and specific personality all their own.  We invite you to stop by our tasting room and take a tour of our magnificent stone cellars.

Make sure you also stop by our Sister Winery's Tasting Room, Dierberg-Star Lane-Three Saints located next door and experience the taste of our award winning Estate grown California Wines.

St. Louis Bride and Groom Convention

Hermann Wedding Trail

A note from Molly Saak, Wedding Coordinator:

Thank you for visiting the Hermannhof Booth at the recent St. Louis Bride and Groom Wedding Show. It was a wonderful turnout.

I would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your family to visit me during the Hermann Missouri Wedding Trail this weekend for a guided tour of our facilities and services, to include our suites, Grand Festhalle, Hofgarten and Winery.

Hermann Wedding Trail is scheduled for this Saturday, January 16th, from 11:30am to 3:30pm.  After seeing our suites, I am sure you will agree that no other Inn can offer a honeymoon night as elegant as Hermannhof can and our Festhalle is a must to see for a perfect unique reception.  I guarantee that Hermannhof will make your wedding dreams come true, as we are devoted to providing you with complete satisfaction.

If you are unable to make it this weekend, please call me and we will schedule a private wedding consultation, where I will detail our flexible options and review your wedding requirements to make sure your every need is met.

Thank you again, and I hope to see you this weekend.

Winter Specials

Come Warm Up with us at the Inn

Wintertime Luncheon In the Winery Weinstubbe

Take time to enjoy the peace filled winter season after the hectic holidays with a trip to Hermannhof Winery.

Enjoy a lunch near the cozy fireplace, the perfect respite from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Our luncheon menu is varied with hearty sandwiches and delicious soups.

Sausage sampler plates with cheese and crackers and a bottle of Stagswood or White Lady will make for a memorable afternoon.  Old tavern tables, deer mounts, and artwork graces the walls--all adding to the old world ambiance of our historic winery.

Gourmet mustards, sauces, and unusual culinary items stock the deli shelves so you can do a bit of shopping before you leave. Wine samples are offered in the Wine Tasting Room adjacent to the deli.

Restoration of Old Hermann Mill Begins

Restoration is underway on the Flour Mill across the street from the Festhalle. When restoration is complete, this old flour mill will one day host exhibits and descriptive narratives on the history of flour making in rural America, from grinding with stones, to gristmills powered by steam engines. Along with demonstrations of old blacksmithing and tin smithing skills at the Hermann Farm and Museum's Forge on Gutenberg, visitors will soon be able to learn about yet another way of life and the people who used to earn a living working the mills.--- known as "millers" or "millwrights".

St. Charles

Lewis & Clark Celebration

Patrick Lee's portrayal of Thomas Jefferson has become one of the favorite events for both adults and students who attend the Discovery Expedition of St Charles' Lewis and Clark Christmas celebration each December.

Here Jefferson holds his favorite wine, Hermannhof's White Lady, at the reception at the Festhalle last December 5th.
